Jack omola ouma who is aspiring to be the next sajooust presented was arrested and charged for stealing Ksh 33 million from his employer. The 32 year old is a third year logistics and supply chain management student , who hails from Siaya county.
He was arraigned before Bondo principal magistrate Moses Obiero and was charged with stealing contrary to penal code section 281. The court heard that between the dates of March 2015 and September 2016 the accused had been stealing from his employers Alicia bakers and confection limited where he had been employed as a sales administrator.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him but was denied bond after the CID informed the court that he had over 20,000,000 in his personal bank account.
He was whisked away under tight security after his fellow students , who had come to show their solidarity, threaten to cause chaos at the courts. Court proceedings would continue at a later date.
This is a sad state of affairs as the student was well liked among his peers and had high chances of winning the upcoming elections.
This comes just in time when the public sets sight to the moral discipline of the jooust students when it comes into handling such delicate information.
From the authors desk, i highly advocate for peace and deep personal insight on the issue for greater good and for the fellow fourth years whose time is already expired in the University.
