IMMATURE DEATH

Schola Moraa

Spread the love

In the break of dawn
It made its beauty known
It was now full grown
But in the bush it was alone

Along came the lovestruck man
Didn’t even wait for the sun
Seeing it he wanted to own
And from the stem it was torn

A beautiful pleasing to look at rose
He carried it away to his Rose
Who put it to her nose
And smiling put it in a vase

The rose in pain wept
Away it’s life had been swept
And to do anything it was inept
Sad and withdrawn it slept
