LOVE IS LIKE A BROKEN MIRROR

Written by Esther Ogina
Spread the love

Love is like a broken mirror

Love is like  a broken mirror

A million pieces shattered on the floor

A hard puzzle

That itches every effort to recollect

Love is like a broken mirror

Though rough in the edges.

It offers a smooth line surface

Giving a perfect feedback view

Love is like a broken mirror

It still plays back your innocent reflection

Despite the distasteful shape it’s in

It will never show a wrong impression

Love is like a broken mirror

It will still be in use

So long as the surface is in perfection

It’ll still be in use, though a tiny piece remains

Love is like a broken mirror

A promise every dawn

A new one to collect from the shop

But still be there in the next dawn

Love is like a broken Mirror

Cautious to use lest we get grazed

Like the beautiful roses

Though they harbour thorns

Love is like a broken mirror

It’s still beautiful

In it’s broken state

Because of the reflection displayed.

Desires and wants that drys out wisdom

But with Essy essence be sure to stay calm
