Mr & Miss Jaramogi University – how it happened

The much awaited and the great deficified beauty contest; Mister and Miss Jaramogi University was held on Saturday 12th Nov 2016. The big annual event for the JOOUST students was proudly sponsored by Cocacola and SAJooust, had four categories for the suave gents and elegant ladies i.e Mr Jooust, Miss Jooust, Mr Flex and Miss plus size. However this was spiced by the Traditional, Casual, Creative and Dinner wears.


Wyclife Osogo porpuraly known as Mr. Burudani  , a 3rd year persuing a degree in Business Administration (finance option), carried the day in the male category and was crowned Mr Jooust 2016/2017.


Louise Bikeri Morwani – louie, 3rd year student persuing a degree in Agricultural Extension Education was crowned Miss Jooust 2016/2017 in the ladies category.


Esther Ogina and Ellena Maina were crowned Miss Jooust 1st and 2nd runners up respectively while Kevin Wanga and Michael Akuno are now Mr Jooust 2016/2017 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.


New featured categories in this beauty peagent, Mr Flex (Most Muscular) and Miss Plus Size (most broad lady), went to one Mr. Clifford Oguttu and Miss Risper Karimi Njeru respectively.

Judges present at the event was Derick Lumumba( works at Woolworths-Kisumu and the current Mr World Kenya Nyamira County), Vincent Wangara( CEO/Designer Vinclizz Suits Ltd and the current Mr World Kenya Kakamega County) and Leah Mungai( Mass Communication) which also saw in attendance Tonny Isambi( Outgoing Mr Jooust 2015/2016) and Morine Jeruto( outgoing Miss Jooust 1st runners up 2015/2016).


Kampozone Staff led by the CO-Founders, Ephantus Githua & Paul Kinuthia, laid a red carpet where photoshoot was done by Clinton and Elton from Japicha & Elton Photography Houses .


Highly profiled academicians led by Dr.Christopher Gor (Dean of Students) and Dr. Walter Akuno( Registrar Academic Affairs) attended the event.


Mc Lokwadhi, Mc Justo, Mc Generali and Mc Dimole elighted the show with lots of humor while Kev the Dj mixed up hits after hits on the decks up until dawn.


The most outspoken lyricist and the super performa artist ‘Welle Welle’ hit maker, Timmy Tdat ruled the show after his thondolous electrifying performance which saw the crowd yearning for more and more and also got lucky to be the only dude who appreciated Jaramogi Beauty at dawn while the audience kula kwa macho.
