As humans we all have plans, the only difference is that all our plans varies from being promoted, passing your final exams, owning a car amongst others; but do we take time to present them to Our Almighty Father? Even if it’s just for a few minutes. Proverbs 23:1 says “we may make our plans but God has the last word.”
When the plans we make don’t come to pass, we complain and wonder where He was all through the period, yet we didn’t take a single minute to invite Him in. We tend to expect things would work out of the blues. We all expect too much at once not realizing it’s one step at a time and if it takes longer after presenting it before the Lord, let’s not forget he knows the right time that He’ll see through our plans.
Whether the plans, the requests we bring before Him come to pass or not lets not forget to say thanks because the true living God we serve has a plan. Jeremiah 35:11 “I alone know the plans I have for you, plan to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for”
As Christians lets instill the culture of putting the Almighty Father in all our plans, no matter the issues we undergo in our lives. We should also not forget to thank Him each single day, because every single moment our heart beats that’s a precious gift from Him, that no one else can ever give us.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”
